Reasons for Bad breath

               BAD BREATH is characterized by an unpleasant odor of the mouth.

Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease.  

Gum disease is caused by the build up of plaque on teeth.  If particles of food are left in the mouth, their breakdown by bacteria produces sulfur compounds which is responsible for bad breath.

Tooth coloured filling in Medavakkam

Clinically Dental caries was evident .

Since Caries was not deep, we advised tooth coloured filling.
