Replacement of teeth with dental implants

Patient came with the complaint of shaking tooth in upper and lower back tooth region. Patient had difficulty in chewing. We advised removal of shaking teeth and replace it with new teeth.We explained about various replacement options( Removable, Bridge, Implants). Patient selected Dental Implants since it is a fixed replacement method and also permanent teeth will be given in 3 days after Implantation.



The shaking teeth was removed and implants was placed on the same day. 


Ceramic crown was fixed permanently after 3 days. Patient is now able to chew and eat all foods.


Patient feel happy with  satisfied smile.

Front Tooth Replacement in Chennai

Patient visited our Parasu Dental Hospital with the chief complaint of being lost his front teeth in an accident 8years back and underwent bridge in the front tooth region.



Patient was not satisfied with the smile and he wants to change his crown.We took x-ray and we found the caries were already close to the pulp.Therefore we advised the patient to go for root canal treatment  followed by zirconium crown in the front tooth region.



We removed the older crown which was placed earlier and  root canal treatment was done by Best Root Canal Specialist in Chennai in the front tooth region followed by tooth measurement.



After 3 days zirconium crown has been placed in the patient's mouth with the permanent cement.


Now,Patient regained his happy smile.

Damaged teeth replaced with implants

Patient came to our hospital with the chief complaint of pain in right upper back tooth region for the past one week.

History of injury to the tooth long back.so we advised RVG for that tooth.


RVG-Digital Radiovisiography:
  • Latest x-ray technology
  • Reduced radiation exposure
  • Time conserving due to faster imaging
  • High quality of the image
  • Advisable even for children due to less radiation   

         RVG reveals internal resorption (resorption inside the tooth).


                               

So we advised removal of that tooth and explained the replacement options  [Removable,Fixed(bridge & implant)].We explained the advantages and disadvantages for each one.

REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURE

Removable type
Advantages:

  • No damage to the adjacent teeth
  • Affordable

Disadvantages:

  • Uncomfortable
  • Covers the roof of the mouth,hence it affects the speech,function and taste sensation
  • The bone where the tooth is missing will continue to shrink as the bone is not in function
  • As the bone and tissues continue to shrink,the denture will become loose and will need frequent replacement.

  • Requries tooth reduction of the adjacent teeth

But patient doesn't want to wear clips and braces.
